The ABWM of the church are again sponsoring the Fall Market on Saturday, Oct. 3rd. Doors will open at 9am to reveal a wide selection of handmade treasures, gift items, popular vendor items and delicious goodies. Over 30 booths will be available until 3pm, and organizers report there will be some new faces and items this fall. There will also be a “soup and sandwich ” lunch available from 10-2. Cost is only $5 for delicious homemade soups and hearty sandwiches. Take-outs will be offered for $6. Shop, browse, have a wonderful lunch and then hit the “Not Your Everyday” bakesale for goodies to take home. We’ll be offering a wide variety of baked goods, plus ready to heat and eat entrees, soups, candy, and homemade preserves.
Don’t miss this great event. Grab your sister, your family, friends or neighbor and spend some time browsing and buying some great items for the home, or that perfect unique gift. The holidays will be her before you know it. Get a jump on your shopping!
Proceeds from booth rentals, the lunch and the “not your everyday bakesale” benefit the ABWM ( American Baptist Women’s Ministries). This group supports the church through financial means, operates the rummage rooms, provides meals for families after funerals, participates in White Cross and Love Gift missions and is an integral part of the operation of Cuba First Baptist.
