Here is another way to contribute to our community. We are currently looking for diapers (2,3,4), wipes,  and knitted items ( booties, sweaters, blankets) Financial donations are also welcome . Checks should be made payable to Cuba First Baptist Church. Please note – Bundle up Baby on the memo line.

For 5 years the Cuba First Baptist Church has held Baby Showers at the Cuba WIC Clinic. As part of the church’s Love the Little Children/Bundle Up Babies missional project diapers, wipes, handmade knitted mittens, sweaters, booties and baby blankets are distributed to WIC clients in Nov., Dec. and Jan.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Dr. Lyle F. Renodin Foundation, affiliated with the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, NY, a second package of diapers could be made available for the Dec. and Jan. WIC clinics. Deep appreciation was expressed for the “bonus” diapers as well as the many other items which were distributed. As one father said, “When I came here today, I didn’t think we would get all these things… Thank you so much.”

The Cuba First Baptist Church thanks its congregation, the community members and the Renodin Foundation for their parts in making these Baby Showers possible.
