Visiting

Come and See!

Come as you are!

When you visit us at First Baptist Church, we want you to be comfortable so that you may fully enter into worship. You will be welcomed as part of the family.

Each Sunday morning at 10 we enjoy a blended traditional/contemporary style of worship in song, prayer and spoken Word. Our pastors, Rev. Lynn Sullivan and Rev. Alexandra Freer share leadership in worship on most Sundays. Their sermons focus on Biblical insights for our everyday lives. Laypeople are also regularly involved in the worship leadership.

Services also include times of greeting, sharing celebrations and concerns, special music, hymns, and giving. The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is celebrated the first Sunday of the month and is open to all who desire to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

Children of all ages are very important to us. Our worship includes a Children’s Message* early in the service followed by Junior Church* for children in grades K-3 and Club 320 for children in grades 4-6.

And of course, a modern Nursery* staffed by caring and capable church volunteers who have all been cleared by background checks is available for infants/preschoolers during the entire worship time.

Our Sunday worship lasts about one hour, and we hope you will stay for refreshment* and fellowship* followed by Small Groups (Sunday School)* through which we learn, grow, and share our faith.

As Jesus said to his disciples, “Come and see,” you have a place waiting for you at Cuba First Baptist Church!

*During the COVID-19 Pandemic, these activities have been suspended. Presently, every person must wear a mask and check in through the Fellowship Hall doors on Spring Street. You will also find ample parking in our Spring Street lot. All other COVID restrictions are required until further notice.
